Icon Zoysia® is a medium / broad-bladed zoysia grass selected for it’s fast rate of growth. It is bright green with hues of blue green; dense and with excellent leaf uniformity, and forms a strong sod from rhizomes.
Empire Zoysia is known to thrive in areas where other grasses are not well adapted.
Color: Blue-green, to emerald-green with excellent fall color retention.
Use: Residential and commercial applications, including homes, commercial landscapes, streetscapes, parks, and sports fields.
Soil: Sandy or clay.
Characteristics: Good to great wear tolerance, drought tolerant, shade range is between 30-50%, insect resistant, disease resistant, with good weed control properties.
